Eclectic Music Productions
The mission of Eclectic Music Productions is to celebrate the power of music and yoga to to consistently create new freedom and liberation where there was none before. EMP events encourage expression and support the human desire to push against boundaries, transform, to creatively express and grow.
EMP’s flagship festival, Liberate, was first launched in Vermont in 2008 and grew to become a cherished summer tradition for Vermont music and yoga fans and guests from coast to coast. In 2011, roughly 1500 fans gathered on our family land to enjoy the music and yoga. Let the celebration and freedom reign.
EMP, created and run by Jane and Ben Lanza, produces large scale music and yoga events and community gatherings.
Burlington Yoga Conference, first produced by EMP in 2009, annually gathers yoga instructors, students of all levels and backgrounds, healing arts practitioners, and mindful merchants under one roof.
BYC’s mission is to unite yoga students, teachers and studios as well as to empower and support individuals along the yogic path. BYC cultivates community by bringing together an assortment of dedicated local yoga teachers and inspirational yogis from around the country and world. BYC believes in making yoga accessible to everyone. BYC’s motto is: Empower change from within.
For years Burlington, Vermont, a beautiful lakefront city, has been a destination for health, natural living, organic food, and yoga. With a dozen independently operated Yoga studios and wellness centers in the greater community- it is no surprise that Burlington was recently voted the “Healthiest City in the United States” by CNN.
Nestled in the Champlain valley between the majestic Adirondacks and Green Mountains, Burlington is one of the most progressive and beautiful cities in the United States today. This small city of around 40,000 year round residents is one of the most visually stunning areas on the east coast. Burlington’s natural beauty and diverse landscape also makes it an ideal retreat location- with nearly limitless options for yoga practice, hiking, climbing, kayaking, and more.
BYC expects about 200 guests annually of all levels and backgrounds, a combination of locals and visitors. BYC intentionally maintains intimate class sizes (for a large-scale yoga event of this type).
